Kerrville

So I went to Kerrville for a conference for work. It's great that San An is on the way! I stopped and spent 36 hours with the fam and then headed west. We met up in Bandera for dinner one night. We spent time on the Guadalupe where Chlo got to feed the ducks.
I held on to her tightly cause she wanted to go swimming!
I told her that only ducks swam in that swimming pool.

I've gotten taller since you last saw me.

She could have stayed there all day!

The Birds

I made a trip out to see the Birdsell's. They just bought a house and I worked hard to make it a little more settled for them. I got to spend good time with the girls, especially Grace as I watched her while Kaye was at a retreat! I am so glad I got to spend time with them. It was my first time to meet Gloria. We all laughed and smiled a lot!

Here is a fun video of Gracie and Kaye!

I taught Gracie "Surprise!" We got to practice alot and had lots of laughs.

I thank the Lord for the ability to fly to see my loved ones!
I love you!

North Africa - so overdue!!

Since I was jobless, had frequent flyer miles, and MISSED my Estes family I hopped on a plane and headed for N. Africa loaded down with an overweight suitcase full of goodies. It was so great to see their home...their life...them. I was so glad to get to spend great time with Jude each day and evenings with Sally and Jon. We played Settler's of Catan six times, had good discussions, and enjoyed each other's company. Jude warmed up to me very quickly which blessed my heart. Sally and I got to go on date night - sushi and dessert and great conversation!
Enjoy the pictures.

I love this boy!!

Girls night out!

Apparently Jon was not doing so hot this game! :)

A day by the beach with Sally and Jude.

So cute.

Family outing.

Here is Jude dancing - true colors shining through, so glad I caught it on video. Sorry it's sideways and short - still worth watching though. He loves to play with computer buttons.

I also got to see W&J - my biggest regret of the trip was not staying longer to hang with them!

I am so blessed! I love Sally, Jon and Jude!

To Thailand Again

I went back to Thailand in January for three weeks. This time I can truly say I'm not sure when I'll go back again. I had the blessing of my cousin, Merinda, and my friend, Lynda, joining me to help with my conference. We did some sight seeking in Bangkok, my first time to see the city.

This Buddha is like 64 feet long!

My first time to handle a boa. I'm glad he didn't strangle me to death.

Rice Patty in the North.

I'm so thankful the Lord has given me opportunity to see His glorious creation. I look forward to heaven when we will have no need for the sun because Jesus' radiance will be all around!
